Domaine de Primard sits at the end of a boxwood driveway less than an hour from Paris, an 18th-century house of enfilade salons, oak floors and old fireplaces. More than thirty hectares run along both banks of the Eure, through orchards, meadows, moats and a pond.
The garden is the estate's centre. Jacques Wirtz shaped it over thirty years, and it holds a rose garden of 250 varieties and the Jardin Remarquable label. A small farm of Highland cattle, Ouessant sheep, swans and donkeys grazes in semi-liberty.
The 39 rooms are spread across four buildings. Bistrot Martin and Ottavio La Tavola cook from the permaculture gardens, and the Maison de l'Orée spa occupies the former woodshed. Primard is a Relais & Châteaux house and took a Michelin Key in 2024.
