Les Bords de Mer stands on the Corniche Kennedy with its white 1930s façade turned to the Mediterranean, five minutes from the Old Port and a short walk from the Catalans beach. The building is a piece of Marseille modernism and the hotel has kept it open to the water.
All 19 rooms and suites face the sea, as do the restaurant, the pool and the rooftop bar, which is open to non-residents and looks across to the Château d'If and the Frioul islands. A spa of three hundred square metres runs sauna, hammam and LED treatments.
The hotel holds Green Key certification. The first calanques are twenty minutes away.
